Through the study of uneven deformation under the action of radial forces in DEFORM-3D finite element simulation environment, a method of fixing a thin-walled cylinder during honing with an elastic cuff and axial tensile force was investigated. The conditions for increasing the accuracy of honing the holes of thin-walled cylinders were determined.
