This paper describes short procedure for preliminary estimation of power capacity for the air cushion landing gear (ACLG) lift equipment and provides statistical and design data on lift equipment used for the range of existing experimental aircraft. Examples of how the ACLG design affects power capacity required for operation of the ACLG, are considered.
