The paper deals with the investigation of the influence of the controlled suspension on the traction capability of the off-road vehicles, especially the agriculture tractors. The standard suspension of the tractor is realized by tires, the rear axle is firm. The controlled suspension is used to increase traction forces in the soft unprepared terrain. The models of wheel soil interaction describe the rigid and elastic models of wheel based on semi-empirical model.
