Permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) drive traction system has the advantages of high speed, high efficiency and energy saving, which has become the development direction of the next generation of rail transit train traction system. Therefore, it is of great significance to study the permanent magnet motor control technology of rail transit train. However, due to the high power, low switching frequency and high harmonic content of Metro permanent magnet traction system, hybrid pulse width modulation technology is needed. This paper takes the hybrid pulse width modulation (PWM) technology as the breakthrough point, first introduces the basic principle of the hybrid mode pulse width modulation (PWM) control technology, then uses the Simulink simulation software to build the simulation model of PMSM hybrid pulse width modulation control, and verifies the rationality of PMSM hybrid pulse width modulation control algorithm through simulation.
