본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 철도차량용 영구자석 견인전동기는, 부하측 및 반부하측 단부를 구비하는 샤프트 및 상기 샤프트의 외주면에 고정 결합되는 회전자 철심을 구비하는 회전자; 상기 회전자의 외주면을 감싸도록 배치되고, 전원을 공급받는 코일이 권취되어 상기 회전자와의 사이에 회전자계를 형성하도록 구비된 고정자; 상기 회전자 및 고정자를 수용하도록 형성되는 하우징; 상기 하우징의 전면과 결합되는 제1 커버 및 상기 하우징의 후면과 결합되는 제2 커버;를 포함하고, 상기 하우징의 내주면에는 상기 하우징 내부 공기의 순환을 위한 적어도 하나의 순환유로가 형성된다.
The present invention is to provide a permanent magnet traction motor for a railroad vehicle, configured to effectively cool the inside of the motor while preventing the inflow of a foreign substance into the motor by preventing the inflow and circulation of air from the outside. The permanent magnet traction motor for a railroad vehicle according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a rotor which includes a shaft having load side and semi-load side ends, and a rotor iron core fixedly coupled to an outer circumferential surface of the shaft; a stator which is disposed to surround an outer circumferential surface of the rotor, and has a coil receiving power wound thereon to form a rotating magnetic field between the same and the rotor; a housing which is formed to accommodate the rotor and the stator; a first cover which is coupled to the front surface of the housing; and a second cover which is coupled to the rear surface of the housing, wherein at least one circulation path for circulation of air inside the housing is formed on an inner circumferential surface of the housing.
