The concept of electric vehicle is mainly proposed for its less or no carbon emission qualities. With an increase in the number of electric vehicles on the road, charging the electric vehicle with a fossil fuel-based grid is not efficient and degrades the quality of less emission of EV. Thus, a renewable energy-based charging station finds immense potential and control for electric vehicle charging. This paper proposes a charging technique based on PV cells, i.e., use of PV cells for charging the batteries of electric vehicles. This method can be applied in remote areas where electricity is not available easily or at home also. The simulation of the above-proposed method is done on MATLAB.
