The mixed wired-wireless network has become a development trend for large-scale NCSs. In this networked environment, the communication mode between subsystems has changed and the time-triggered and event-triggered distributed controllers should be designed simultaneously. This chapter introduces a mixed time/event-triggered dual-mode DMPC for constrained NCSs with bounded disturbances, where an event-triggering condition of event-triggered subsystems is derived considering the influence of time/event-triggered communication patterns. The recursive feasibility and closed-loop stability of the DMPC are proven and examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the control strategy.
