In order to realize automatization of flight procedure planning for manned spacecraft, a method of autonomous coverage analysis for spacecraft is proposed. For given position of ground station and orbital elements of spacecraft, coverage boundary condition is derived. Pass number and argument of latitude are determined by solving the boundary condition. Based on quasi-mean element method, start time and stop time of the coverage are calculated. The simulation results show that coverage analysis algorithm in this paper satisfies index requirement well with lower calculation load and higher reliability.
