Fault detection and diagnosis (FDD) technology is a scientific field emerged in the middle of the twentieth century with the rapid development of science and data technology. It manifests itself as the accurate sensing of abnormalities in the manufacturing process, or the health monitoring of equipment, sites, or machinery in a specific operating site. FDD includes abnormality monitoring, abnormal cause identification, and root cause location.
