The paper is dedicated to investigating the comparative tribological characteristics of the AlSi10Mg aluminum alloy obtained by the selective laser melting with and without NiP coating on the surface. Studies were conducted under various friction conditions. Research was conducted to assess the possibility of applying the NiP coatings on the surfaces of thin internal channels of parts for aircraft engines and power plants.
