The PDE modeling of the overhead bridge crane system is investigated taking into account the dynamic coupling characteristics of the main bridge beam and middle trolley. The PDE model established in this chapter lays the foundation for the subsequent control design. Then the vibration control is proposed to achieve exponential stability of the closed-loop system.
