To eliminate the blind spots in the complex road environment caused by GPS, this paper proposes to use the wireless positioning technology under the vehicle-road cooperative environment to obtain the vehicle position information in real time. And then the driving state information of the vehicle is obtained by doing calculating. Actual vehicle road-tests were conducted, and the test data shows that the average deviation of the speed collected by both the test instruments and positioning system during the driving process is 2.73%, the standard deviation is 1.59%, the average deviation of the positioning is 0.01%, and the standard deviation is 0%. The test data indicates that the method adopted in this paper can accurately collect position information of the moving vehicle and realize the function that monitoring the driving state of the vehicle in real time.
