A fault reconstruction algorithm is proposed by employing the sliding mode observer, which can be employed to address actuator and sensor faults during landing process of aircraft. First, sensor fault is equivalent to actuator fault by means of a non-singular transformation, filtering algorithm and state extension. Next, for the equivalent system, a SMO is designed, and the reconstruction of actuator, sensor faults, as well as the estimation of airwake disturbances, are realized by analyzing the error dynamics system. Finally, the proposed algorithm’s effectiveness is validated through the simulation experiments.
