The paper presents a model and the results of theoretical and experimental research regarding the change in a vehicle's critical speed for different kinematic parameters of the turning motion. Six combinations of turning, braking, and longitudinal road inclinations are studied. The results show that in some cases a significant reduction in the critical speed in a curve takes place owing to the change in the normal tyre forces.
