A theoretical model to predict weave mode behavior of a single track vehicle is presented. The three degree-of-freedom model includes rear caster effects only. Tire force characterises are based on dynamic tire testing conducted for Harley-Davidson at the Calspan TIRF.Parameters from the linearized equations are suitable as a guide for two wheel vehicle design.
