This paper provides a brief overview of the NASA program of research in telerobotics. It describes ongoing effort in a number of participating laboratories investigating topics in human-machine interaction, intelligent task planning and execution, dual-arm control of manipulators with redundant degrees-of-freedom, sensing and perception. A brief list of illustrative references is provided.
