Method of computing optical sensitivities of single- and multiple-element optical trains developed for analyses of dynamics of optoelectro-mechanical systems, including controlled optics (lenses, mirrors, prisms, and/or gratings mounted on electromechanical actuators) supported by flexible structure. Based on techniques of ray tracing and on matrix representation of each surface of each optical element.
