Paper presents evaluation of performance of six-axis telerobot system with shared control and advanced modes of force feedback. Various tasks performed with and without force feedback. Study found force feedback reduces average time required to complete task by about 30 percent. Also reduces sum of squared forces by factor of 7 and errors by 63 percent.
