Four general recommendations by the EVA subpanel are listed as follows: 1) EVA design standard document needs to be dveloped in the next 6 to 12 months and updated as technology progresses. 2) NASA needs to couple EVA design personnel closer to the user community. 3) there appears to be a lack of centralized NASA responsibility for the EVA community. 4) Panel activity should continue to promote exchange of information and understanding of user problems, and to stimulate technology activity.
