Two projects are the last links in providing a modern highway for safe and comfortable travel through a rapidly developing area, comprising a total distance of about 11 miles. A temporary deterioration of the environment can be expected during the time of construction due to noise and dust. A number of trees will have to be cleared away and the land area used by the highway will be taken out of agricultural production. Increased traffic and possible development of adjacent areas may have detrimental effects on existing wildlife populations.
