A number of motorcycle subsystems and characteristics were investigated to determine their relationship to safety. These included aspects of conspicuity, rear vision, desirable banking angles, and vehicle dynamics. Subsystems investigated were tires, anti-lock brakes, and fuel system. Security against theft was also analyzed. Applicable test results are reported.
