The report deals with the Driver License function, one of the functional areas of the Maryland Highway Safety Study. The purpose of the study has been to develop and identify specific present and future needs and propose a program for implementation within Maryland that would fulfill the needs of its citizens as well as meet the requirements of the National Highway Safety Act of 1966 for the Driver Licensing function.
