It is proposed to construct a general utility airport in Pickens County, Georgia adequate to accommodate substantially all propeller aircraft of less than 12,500 pounds. There will be about 100 acres of tree clearing; slight increased intermittent noise levels, due to operations of single and twin engine propeller driven aircraft; and slight increased air pollution due to operations of these aircraft, and short time adverse environmental effects associated with normal construction techniques.
