The Mariner Jupiter/Saturn Program is a continuation of a series of planetary and interplanetary space exploration missions using unmanned spacecraft. The spacecraft will be launched by a Titan/Centaur rocket from Cape Kennedy, Florida to the vicinity of the planet Jupiter in 1977. There are insignificant adverse environmental effects from the products of the launch vehicle and from the radioisotope generators on the spacecraft.
