This is Vol. 6 of a 9 volume study of approximately 200,000 California drivers. The volume considers the mathematical properties of the sample's accident and conviction distribution and the stability of driving record parameters over time. The authors show that removal of all accident repeaters from one period can only have a very limited effect on the total number of accidents occurring in a subsequent interval of time.
