This paper describes an analytical model of the strategic bomber penetration mission. The model covers all parts of the mission from take off to kill or recovery. Specifically, the model includes representations of base escape, aerial refueling, forward defense, barrier SAMS, area fighter-intercepter defense, random area SAMs, terminal SAMs, weapons delivered, and recovery. Cruise missiles are included in the model.
