Daily Flight Operation Monitoring (DFMO), which is the crew performance monitoring in Japanese Airlines (JAL), is outlined. It was introduced to improve flight safety as one of the major objectives of the aircraft integrated monitoring systems. Through the monitoring, many unexpected phenomena were observed and necessary actions were required. Examples and future plans for B747-400 are included.
