This report presents the results of an effort aimed at developing a more realistic approach to OPFOR-related training for tactical units. It was concerned with the selection of the OPFOR-related information to be included in training. The research team used a systems engineering approach which resulted in a procedure for integrating OPFOR training directly into US task training. NBC warfare was the area chosen for development of these procedures. The procedures derived can be employed by training managers to aid in the development of US/OPFOR integrated training specific to their needs. (Author)
