This is a final report on aircraft drops of Mine, Mk. 45, to determine the maximum launching velocity and the operating characteristics of the parachute packs, XE-29A. It is concluded that the three units tested successfully withstood the opening shock when launched from external suspension at indicated airspeeds up to 400 knots.
