This report consists of papers that address the 2010 Highway Capacity Manual urban street free-flow speed prediction model; traffic congestion evaluation methods for urban arterials; comparison of estimates of travel time losses on high-capacity roads; a new methodology to determine work zone capacity distribution; deficiencies in the Highway Capacity Manual bike level of service model for arterial roadways; microscopic traffic simulation; and impacts of modeling parameters on the Highway Capacity Manual–based procedure to estimate reliability of freeway corridors. This issue of the TRR also examines a method for scenario selection and probability adjustment for reliability and active traffic management analysis; an investigation of saturation flow on shared right-turn lanes at signalized intersections; estimation of the mean critical gap; determinations of level of service on freeways and multilane highways with higher speeds; capacity estimation for weaving segments; lane utilization at two-lane arterial approaches to double crossover diamond interchanges; estimation of roundabout entry capacity under the impact of pedestrians; truck passenger car equivalent values at signalized intersections; temporal and spatial gap acceptance for minor roads at uncontrolled intersections in India; and the influence of undesignated pedestrian crossings on midblock capacity of urban roads.
