NOAA elements that participate directly in aeronautics and space programs are: The National Earth Satellite Service, the National Weather Service, the Environmental Data and Information Service, the National Ocean Survey, the Office of Ocean Engineering, the National Marine Fisheries Service, and the Environmental Research Laboratories.
