A synthesis of the results obtained is given together with an analysis and technical description of the payload. A synthetic analysis of mission and system aspects is also presented. Conclusions concerning the spacecraft support subsystems are exposed in detail. Satellite specifications are: launcher Ariane; allowed weight 640 kg max; maximum inclination of solar paddles 40 deg; and use of S-band communication. The telescope proposed is an all reflecting Baker-Schmidt with an entrance pupil of zero located at 1300 mm of the prime mirror, overall view field appr. 47 arcmins. The complex mirror will be placed at the entrance pupil, basic angle 70 deg constant within 0.001 arcsec over 20 mins of time.
