The Earth radiation budget was determined by employing a microaccelerator (Super Cactus) to measure the nongravitational forces acting on the spacecraft skin. The mission and system analysis as well as the subsystems study and satellite operations are presented. It is concluded that the overall error, being caused mainly by inertial acceleration, is about three times larger than the specified value. Several remedies are proposed to reach a full demonstration of mission feasibility.
