The possibility of using a propulsive platform for the transport of Spacelab payloads was investigated. Topics dealt with include system analytical considerations on the concept of a Spacelab Experiments Propulsive Platform (SEAP) and a description and an analysis of the SEAP subsystems, such as the propulsive system, orbits and performance, attitude control, energy housekeeping, and power supply.
