The comparison of-simulation and flight test results for automatic STOL landings is presented. The subjects discussed are: (1) description of flight control system; (2) control of flight path during approach; (3) control of aerodynamic flow conditions; (4) description of simulator; (5) influence of nonlinearity; and (6) application of radar for altitude measurement.
