The comparison of simulation and flight test results for automatic STOL landings is presented. The subjects discussed are: (1) description of flight control system, (2) control of flight path during approach, (3) control of aerodynamic flow conditions, (4) description of simulator, (5) influence of nonlinearity, and (6) application of radar for altitude measurements.
