The report presents an overview of the study plan for the evaluation of three high-occupancy vehicle facilities currently being constructed in Houston, Texas. Preliminary analyses of data from the first 12 months of the study are presented. These data include park-and-ride demands, travel times and speeds, vehicle and person demands, plus limited accident experience within the three freeway corridors under investigation.
