In this study of the literature a number of elements of systems for deliberative robot control are discussed. Using the well-known sense-model-plan-act cycle as an analysis tool, these elements can be distinguished clearly. After this analysis, architectures of systems for deliberative control are discussed, and attention is focused on world modeling, task planning, and motion planning.
