Data collected during aircraft pilot selection tests were analyzed by two different methods to determine the predictive ability of each to military flight training. The comparison was made using data from four groups using a compensatory and a conjunctive method. The conjunctive or cross validation method gave better predictions in three of the four groups, but the compensatory or regression analysis method gave better results in the fourth group.
