The higher design standards of the project will result in a freer, safer and more comfortable travel. The project would necessarily require wooded areas, swampy areas, cultivated fields, and pasture land to be acquired as right-of-way. There will be an increase in traffic and automobile and truck fumes, and there will be additional noise of trucks and automobiles using the facility. There will also necessarily be additional noise of road building machinery during the construction period. There will be 9 residences and 6 businesses taken that are within the proposed right-of-way.
