This document presents the results of a maintainability demonstration performed on an AN/APD-10 Radar Mapping Set installed in a RF-4C aircraft at Luke AFB, ARIZ. The on-aircraft repair times for the thirteen line-replaceable units making up the radar set were measured, and the average and maximum repair times were then computed and found to be 48 minutes and 62 minutes, respectively. Some shop repair data from the contractor was also analyzed. The overall maintainability of the Radar Set was judged to be adequate especially when compared to a similar radar set, the AN/APQ-102, now in the field. (Author)
