Several significant modifications have been made to The Aerospace Corporation lamellar grating interferometer. These modifications include the utilization of a tungsten coiled-coil source, the construction of an aluminum lamellar grating, and provision for external adjustment of the final mirror before the exit aperture. Two modifications are planned for the near future. These are the replacement of the Czerny-Turner mirrors by an off-axis paraboloid and the installation of a laser measuring system. These changes, accomplished and proposed, are discussed. (Author)
