The Computerized Aircraft Attrition Program (THAAP) presented in this report provides for a rapid method of calculating the forecasted attrition to be experienced by a given homogenous fleet of aircraft over a specified period of time. The THAAP program is designed to be a time-saving tool which will provide the quantity of aircraft attrited and resultant flying hour program for the adjusted operational fleet. The program will provide for the time-phased induction and withdrawal of aircraft from the fleet over the operational life of the system. The information or output from the program is intended to be used as input to time-phased cost estimates, particularly operating and support cost estimates. The program's output is ideally suited for those studies which are performed manually or by computerized cost models which do not have a fleet attrition capability. (Author)
