The proposed action is acquisition of land and removal of structures on 156 acres located adjacent to Los Angeles International Airport. The property to be acquired comprises two separate parcels of 22 acres and 134 acres, one on each side of Sepulveda Boulevard in and near the approach zone of Runways 24L and 24R. This project will increase the level of safety during aircraft operations on the north parallel runways. There will be no adverse effect on the natural environment.
