A re-evaluation of the development program hardware costs, based on more complete design information and the incorporation of additional cost saving manufacturing techniques expected to be realized over the course of the program, results in a reduction in the JTF17A-20 supersonic transport engine development and production cost baseline estimates. These reductions by phases are shown in Sections II, III, and IV of this report. (Author)
