This project is located on SR 111 - Beginning at a point on SR 111 then traveling 1800 ft. in a northeasterly direction to SR 37 southwest of Moultrie. This is known as the Moultrie-Meigs R Road. The purpose of the project is to remove a dangerous narrow existing bridge and reconstruct an appropriate drainage structure and approaches. The estimated future traffic is 2050 vehicles per day. The amount of traffic being carried across this narrow bridge makes the needs of this project most urgent. No adverse environmental effects will be caused by the construction of this project.
