Improvement and relocation are proposed of State Sign Route 20 in Colusa and Sutter Counties in the near Meridian, California. Constructiion will consist of a two-lane facility designed to expressway standards and replacement of the existing bridge over the Sacramento River. The project will remove a large portion of the through traffic from the town of Meridian. The improved highway and new bridge will improve safety, aesthetics, and reduce maintenance. Negligible impacts will occur in the loss of some farmland and tax revenue.
