The major action is construction of a 10 land interstate freeway (I-90) across Mercer Island, replacing the existing four lane Highway SR 90 (U.S. 10). At the East Channel of Lake Washington, a high level, 10 lane bridge will be constructed, replacing the existing bridge which presently crosses the channel. A summary of environmental impacts is discussed.
