The objective of this program was to produce a helicopter component by pultruding a straight preform, then change the contour of that preform during cure without affecting its cross section. Tooling for pultrusion and postforming was designed. Sixteen lower aft cargo door tracks for the Model UH-1 were manufactured. (Author)
