Results are given of an investigation of an accident which involved a 1969 Chevrolet, 2-door hardtop, which suddenly left the roadway and struck a highway sign support. The vehicle subsequently rotated and rolled onto its right side. The driver of the vehicle stated that he has had a history of blackout spells and that he lost consciousness just prior to the crash. The speed of impact was 35-45 miles per hour. The collision severity rating was moderate and the estimated cost of damages is $2,850. (Author)
